Lemon Laws and Cars

Wether a car is old or new it may have a defect. Consumer that purchase such a car are protected by the Lemon laws.
If you bought a car, brand new and found out a serious malfunction in it, the manufacture must fix it to your approval or
replace it with a new one. Which of the two is decided by each case detail and the lemon laws in that particular state.

We live in a time that the lemon laws that protect us in buying a car or a truck are present in all the states.
There are some state that extend the coverage to motorcycles, motor homes and more.
Most states describe in a lemon law a new automobile with a malfunction that substantially impairs the use or value of the
automobile and which has not been fixed after a reasonable number of attempts.

Are you a victim of such a violation?

If so you must first attempt to contact the manufacturer, the dealer or the seller of the automobile.
See if he or she is willing to compensate you in a suitable way.
If this fails, seek an attorney and prepare your documents so your case would stand and prevail
in a court of law.
